*The Commercial Lines Transformation (CLT) program is transforming our commercial lines business across all product lines with short-term focus on the Property, GL, and Umbrella and more product lines to follow. The goal is a simpler set of products that will be sold and serviced at a lower expense ratio. A common set of products will be used across all states and channels. This requisition is for a Requirements lead / Requirements analyst for Commercial Lines Transformation (CLT). As the requirements lead, you’ll facilitate requirements through the early requirements lifecycle for the CLT (Guidewire PolicyCenter) teams supporting integration, configuration, and data migration efforts. We’re looking for someone with extensive hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience, skills and successful attributes such as: Functional/ Configuration expertise (i.e. applying system analysis techniques and procedures including meeting with various resources to qualify required information, analyze and interpret requirements and support the handshake with analysts on development teams working in an Agile/Lean environment), Integration experience (i.e. leading development of integration requirements and design aligned to technology architecture, mapping and transforming data for various integration patterns to/from internal & external sources), and data migration experience (i.e. identifying, mapping and transforming data for existing policies and products into the new system).
Skills Required and Your Key Responsibilities:
Property & Casualty Insurance experience and Guidewire PolicyCenter experience are must; ClaimCenter and/or BillingCenter experience is not enough.
Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and out of the box software functionality.
Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations
Experience interacting with business SME’s from various groups to elicit requirements.
Leads complex user-centered design analysis activities including the following:conceptual design (including UCD and end-to-end experience design), interaction design (including information architecture and workflow analysis) and visual design (including page design and rapid prototyping).
Performs multiple aspects of requirements specifications including functional and non-functional specification development.Successfully uses appropriate methodologies and techniques for assigned projects.
Lead requirement teams per the assigned development project.
Develop requirements documentation inclusive of user stories, process flows, mock-ups, data flows and gaps/decision documents.
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence cross functional teams and facilitate conversation that lead to agreed direction.
Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal; ability to negotiate and gain consensus in a fast-paced, changing environment is critical.
Solid planning and organization skills, can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, flexible to changing priorities and be a team player.
Managing and/or contribution to project requirement planning. Ability to strategize with project managers on projects to assist with identifying achievable goals.
Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significance guidance.

Exceptional attention to detail.
Participate in the development and planning of the testing activities (IT, ST, UAT), including reviewing of test scenarios and scripts, based on requirements.
Experience using standard project and business/requirement tools including RRC, RTC, MS office and SharePoint.

To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree and related work experience
Guidewire PolicyCenter Introduction/ functional certification highly preferred
5 year of experience working at or advising a property and casualty insurance carrier.
5 years of experience as a member of a technology team participating in one or many of the technology life cycle phases. Could include requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, and testing.
Proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines*
JOB SUMMARY: Top level expert in one or more highly specialized aspects of IT Analysis. Acts independently or with limited direction. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies the most complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system log difficulties as necessary. Guides and advises less-experienced analysts . - Prepares detailed specifications, requirements, scope documents and logic flowcharts for the development and implementation of the most complex application programs and modifications.2. Conducts quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Ensures the most complex project requirements are executable, testable, complete and not ambiguous.3. Analyzes the most complex systems requirements and existing business processes and information systems and develops cost-effective information technology solutions.4. Serves as the top-level expert in the analysis of the most complex application systems issues and provides technical solutions.5. Validates the most complex requirements, including functional validation and traceability and consensus building.6. Tests and analyzes each component/phase of the systems development life cycle including the project requirements, design and programs. Develops the most complex test strategies.7. Executes the most complex tests according to established plans and scripts, documents and communicates results. Collaborates with developers and/or end users to determine appropriate solutions. Retests corrections to ensure problems are resolved.8. Leads in the development, implementation and maintenance of complex test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.9. Leads activities related to User-Centered Design Analysis including the following: Conceptual Design, including UCD and end-to-end experience design; Interaction Design, including Information architecture and workflow analysis; Visual Design, including page design and rapid prototyping.10. Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science management information systems, business administration, Usability and Design/Human Factors, insurance or related field is preferred.Knowledge: Sound understanding of the Nationwide business. Knowledge of the Solution Delivery Framework and Methodology. Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Rational Unified Process (RUP). Knowledge in one or more technical areas that support application development, applications, or infrastructure components. Knowledge of business process framework.
